Hello,

Im going through the Problems view and trying to solve issues. I solved a simpler one by undefining (pressed U) and redefining (pressed C) binary as code. But the problems view doesnt update after reanalyzing the program.

Here is the hex at that particular instruction.

I think Problems view cached the error and just never invalidates itself.

You can delete resolved items from the list.

Hi,

Isn’t that more of a meme solution? If i delete it manually, can i still restore it somehow? I havent found any deleted problems view. I think the problem is on my end but you probbably guessed already that im a little confused. Let me ask some more questions i think i almost got it.

Can i solve all the problems or there will always be some false positives? Is this problem a false positive? If i think i solved the problem can i do a reanalysis or it will mess things up?

My approach now is to try changes run reanalysis and see if the problem went away.

I noticed for the same address two problem is reported. And it was right there was really a string treated as a location into that address but i pressed U to undefine it then made it into a proper string, but after doing a reanalyze still nothing.

if the problem reoccurs, it will be re-added to the list. If it’s not re-added after reanalysis, it means the issue is no longer present.

Unfortunately, it’s difficult to say why you have two entries without your binary and the exact actions.
