Sometimes, one likes to hide casts in pseudocode view as it simplifies the code.
Problem:
- when there’s a coding agent working with the IDB
- and if casts are hidden in pseudocode view
- the coding agent becomes confused because of their absence
- this in turn generates extra work that’s ultimately useless
Basically,
One must always think about ‘show casts’ using \ key before submitting work to a coding agent.
In short,
- can ‘show casts’ be only relevant for UI?
- the pseudocode fetched from scripting should always show casts, regardless of user preference set about it
Hope that makes sense!
