IDA 9.2 fails to analyze PDB

OS: Windows 10 22H2 (x64)
Binary target: Windows 10 x64

I just upgraded from IDA 9.0 to 9.2, and I’ve ran into a PDB that doesn’t analyze properly. The corresponding binary analyzes fine, though when attempting to parse the PDB, it gets stuck on “handling types”. I just let it sit on this window for over 48 hours and nothing happened. When looking at IDA in task manager, there was rarely any change in RAM/CPU usage, and I never saw any disk usage at all. I have a high end pc, and binaries 10x the size of this one take me ~8 hours to analyze, so it definitely is not a pc issue.

Here is a link to the .exe and .pdb: 22.44 MB file on MEGA

Thank you for the report, but we can’t seem to reproduce this.

The one in first post also works fine for me, but this one is getting stuck at “Handling types …“

wow im stupid, i linked the complete wrong files. the one morgan replied with seems to be exactly what i had the issue with by some strange coincidence, but incase its any different ill attach it again. sorry about the mix up, i was working with both binaries at the same time. (reading names from the pdb worked for me, just not the types)

Thank you, we can reproduce the issue on the Bodycam binary in IDA 9.2. Good news is that it seems to load fine in 9.3.
