OS: Windows 10 22H2 (x64)
Binary target: Windows 10 x64
I just upgraded from IDA 9.0 to 9.2, and I’ve ran into a PDB that doesn’t analyze properly. The corresponding binary analyzes fine, though when attempting to parse the PDB, it gets stuck on “handling types”. I just let it sit on this window for over 48 hours and nothing happened. When looking at IDA in task manager, there was rarely any change in RAM/CPU usage, and I never saw any disk usage at all. I have a high end pc, and binaries 10x the size of this one take me ~8 hours to analyze, so it definitely is not a pc issue.
Thank you for the report, but we can’t seem to reproduce this.

wow im stupid, i linked the complete wrong files. the one morgan replied with seems to be exactly what i had the issue with by some strange coincidence, but incase its any different ill attach it again. sorry about the mix up, i was working with both binaries at the same time. (reading names from the pdb worked for me, just not the types)
