IDA crashes on a DLL for Win ARM64EC

  1. Version 9.1.250226 Windows x64 (64-bit address size). Win 11 23H2 22631.5189.

IDA crashes when I open MSO98WIN32CLIENT.DLL 16.0.18827.20006.

I can attach the DLL. I can attach the crash dump generated by IDA, but you can easily get it yourself.
It doesn’t depend on whether I agree to download the symbols.
I am able to disassemble the DLL in Ghidra.

  1. Version 9.1.250226 macOS arm64 (64-bit address size). MacOS 15.4.1 (24E263).
    The same dll causes infinite loading.

The crash dump and the DLL have been sent to support@hex-rays.com.

I’ve had similar crashes for other Win ARM64EC DLLs in Windows IDA before, but I guess I was able to disassemble them in Mac IDA earlier.

I made this discussion public so that you don’t put a low priority on fixing it.
